I tried my first taste of sushi in Tokyo, 1969.
Shibuya transports me back to those wonder days.  I'd say it's a must.

There is a lot to be said about this place...
1)You must be willing to wait in line or have a timely strategy. Period. A lot of ppl get mad about the wait then order California rolls
Personally I feel the food is above average but not worth the wait and the crowded conditions.

My husband isn't a fan, but my sisters and I love this place. I think it's some of the better sushi in the west valley. There's something magical about the yellowtail hand roll and also the live scallop. It's pure perfection!

Although I love this restaurant soo so much, I do wait 2 hours to be seated every time I do go there and it is rough I must say. The food is unbelievable and it never fails though. In my opinion everything about this restaurant is fantastic accept for the availability and space that they have. Do not go here if you are starving, you will have to wait a while to be seated.

Some recommendations on what to order:
Salmon, onion cut roll
Spicy tuna, or spicy salmon rice cakes
Mushrooms
Yellowtail hand roll

Our favorite sushi place and we don't even live in California.   My personal favorite is the spicy tuna on crispy rice but everything is amazing!  We are always there when we go to So Cal.

Hands down the BEST sushi of all time! The wait however is not the best at all. We waited for over an hour to be seated. came on a Sunday 4:50 pm name on the list & sat at a 2 top table in the corner at 6:30 pm ish. A celebrity came an hour after we got on the list and was seated in 15 mins which was upsetting regardless of someone status.

Service was slow, we started with the sautéed mushrooms & asked to see the roll menu. Wanted to get the market price of some specials + rolls because there are no prices listed. Unfortunately, the price of the roll we ordered was relayed incorrectly, it was $28 for the role we got. After being told it was $15 which was uncool.

Service where we were seated in the far corner was very slow as mentioned. Very hard to even get water refilled. If you are seating in that table I highly recommend ordering with the waiters right when they come to your table or even just request sushi bar only.

Overall, we absolutely will be back since it is the best sushi on the planet but they get so busy it's hard to keep track for the staff.

Here is what we ordered:
- Spicy tuna on crispy rice & spicy yellowtail on crispy rice
- Salmon sushi, halibut sushi & two hand rolls -- crab leg w/cucumber + albacore
- mushrooms
- black cod (comes with small mixed greens salad)
- Albacore crispy onion roll ($27+)

Average looking from the outside but wow! Such amazing sushi, possibly the best sushi I've had and at minimum top 2. Be prepared for a long wait but it is worth it once you start eating. The albacore is my favorite item on the menu, everything I have had with albacore in it has been amazing!
